OK guys, huddle up.
I was at the Magic Castle last night and here’s the poop. On the left you have a “legal picture” of the exterior of the joint.
On the right you have a bonafide illegal picture of a portrait (note the moveable eyes) in the interior of The Magic Castle. After I unwittingly broke the “Castle Rules” when I took this picture, two Magic Castle security guards rushed me and informed me that photography inside the Castle was strictly forbidden and if I persisted, they would have to confiscate my camera/phone (Yeah, try to take my Blackberry).
And so, enjoy your rare, illegal interior-of-The-Magic-Castle photo of the weird guy with the moveable eyes.
Magic Castle is the Whole Foods of Magic Castles! P.S. When I was there, all of the electricity went out and one of the “magic doors” that we needed to open to move out of the room we were in, wouldn’t open. Which seems more, um, electric-ish than magical. But I’m sure I’m wrong. Open Sesame!
